Information about business equipment conditions, malfunctions
and wastage as well as possible actions had been collected in the form of a variety of complex Excel files. The ordinary employees
and the experts weren’t able to process and analyze this data.
SolutionThanks to the developers from the ISS Art team, the existing mathematical models and algorithms of Cassantek have been significantly optimized for more efficient processing and analysis of current and historical data on the state of the equipment and the production process. Cassantec mathematical model had the following data in input:
- Equipment conditions markers
- Manufacturing process markers
- Empirical data
- Equipment specifications provided by the Customer
As the output we got Reliability reports and the Readiness forecasts.
The prognostic strength has been confirmed by retrospective analysis. A statistical calculation of confidence in the prognosis – is greater the more data we have and the larger the fleet of assets.
Looking back, we can say that thanks to the successful work done by ISS Art engineers, 99% of predictable faults were accurately predicted with a horizon of up to 5 years (!).
Hitachi Ltd. was one of the biggest Cassantec clients (before acquisition) and used Cassantec
solutions in its units.
